Me: The newest member of the AD Team

Last year I was a member of the Academic Decathlon team. I attended practice regularly and applied myself to it.
At the beginning of this year I attempted to do the same. After joining the team, my work load become to gruesome and I had to quit. I was disappointed that I would not be going on the awesome state trip to St. George.
HOWEVER, yesterday I got a phone call saying the a girl had quit and they had an opening for the state team going to St. George this weekend and since I had some expierence they invited me to go. So, I accepted and now I'm going to St. George!!
