bittersweet

The events of the past week have pulled at almost every emotion I have. I have felt happiness, relief, joyous, regret, sadness, and excitement.

MONDAY

I packed up and headed out for the senior trip. Just as every year, the seniors went to Moab. We arrived around 3 and prepared to hike up to Delicate Arch. Honestly, the hike killed me. I hated every moment of it! Debby kept saying, "when you see it, it'll all be worth it". I wish! I was more excited to see the busses coming down than the arch. That night we played charades. It was really fun.

TUESDAY

I discovered a new love! RAFTING!! It was a blast.

WEDNESDAY

Senior Honors Night: I was honored for completing my associate's degree and also awarded an Allred Scholarship. I am still amazing at how much Chall and Sally Allred gift to the students of Union High School.

THURSDAY

Annie's art show: she is an amazing artist. WOWZA

FRIDAY

I utterly regret this day. I woke up with enough time to get ready for my second hour class, seminary. However I suddenly remembered that I had to take and online history class test. So, I stayed home and took the test instead of going to seminary. I did not realize that this was my LAST ACTUAL seminary class EVER. I missed it. It makes me want to cry.

That afternoon, the yearbooks were distributed at that yearbook party. I think that they turned out well.

SATURDAY

This day was without excitement. I stayed home and cleaned a little bit. I also started and finished a book. Oh how I missed reading. Now that school and deadlines are done I plan on going back to that love!!

SUNDAY

This day was the climax of the week. Church was wonderful, every part. As my time in Young Women's is drawing to an end, I am finding myself loving and appriating my leader so much more! I love them so much!!

That evening was seminary graduation. I was asked to bare my testimony. I am so very thankful for the opportunity to share one of my greatest possessions. I bawled through the whole meeting!
