never alone

There is a beam over the entrance to my hallway. It is the perfect size for half sized piece of poster board that I picked up at Smith's the other day. I bought it with no intentions, other than if I ever were to need it. I have been thinking that I should find something worthwhile to write on the poster board and hang it from the beam. The following are my ideas, leave your comments to help me narrow down the selection. (PS if you have any questions about what these mean or who these men are go here or leave a comment and I'd be willing to help or I have some friends with cool name tags that could.)

"We believe in you, your parents and brothers and sisters believe in you, and God expects the best from you. You must believe in yourself. Don't give in when the going is rough, for you are laying the foundation of a great work, and that great work is your life" --David B. Haight

Fear not, I am with thee; oh, be not dismayed,

For I am thy God and will still give thee aid.

I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand, …

Upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand.

"How Firm a Foundation

(When ever I'm having a tough time, this is the song that runs through my heart!)

I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up" (D&C 84:88).

"Remember that whatever you do or wherever you are, you are never alone" –Ezra Taft Benson

"Trumpeted from the summit of Calvary is the truth that we will never be left alone nor unaided, even if sometimes we may feel that we are. Truly the Redeemer of us all said: 'I will not leave you comfortless: [My Father and] I will come to you [and abide with you].'" --Jeffery R. Holland

"Remember, you are never alone. Never forget that you are loved. Never doubt that someone surely cares for you." --Thomas S. Monson.

Ha! Alexis! We are on the same sheet music page. Just today I had how firm a foundation running through my brain. "In every condition, in sickness, in health; In poverty's vale, or abounding in wealth; At home and abroad, on the land, on the sea, As thy days may demand, shall thy strength every be". Heavenly Father is always there for us and we are so grateful! Love ya, Jamie
