Throughout high school, I despised the "Utes" of Uintah High. They were the rivals of the Union Cougars. The Utes beat us in basketball, soccer, baseball, cross country, wrestling and occasionally football. We were only successful against them in softball.
However, after tonight, I am grateful to be a "Ute", a student of the Sugar Bowl Champions, University of Utah.
It is definitely more fun to cheer for a winning team than a team being SLAUGHTERED by the opponents. I attended the homecoming game of my Alma Mater, the Union Cougars. I left at the beginning of the 4th quarter because they were losing my almost 30 points!
I am so excited to watch my winning Utes next weekend!!
