my very best friend

Happy Mother's Day!

I truly have the best mother out there!  I love her so much and she is a great example to me.  

I was asked to give a talk in church today about my mom.  It was a great opportunity.  

Here is a part of it:

Throughout my life my mother has been my teacher, disciplinarian, chef, nurse, coach, my example and my very best friend.  She is incredibly caring and generous and is ever so reliable.  She is the hardest working person I know and she NEVER, NEVER settles for less than her best.  She encourages me to chase my dreams, and I’m positive there is no other person that believes in me as much as she does.   I have learned from her how I can achieve my goals.  Simply in one word: WORK. She has always told me I could become anything I wanted to, however If I didn’t put forth the work and effort, my ambitions were nearly impossible

I know that God loves her and I can't wait for that day when she know's for herself.  I will never give up on her and I know God will never either. 

Mom, thank you so much for everything you've done.  I don't know what I must have done in the preexistence to deserve a mom so great as you.
