California: Day 1

We pulled into Roseville, California around 2pm.  I was so glad to get out of the car.  Matthew's parents were instantly welcoming and showed me where I was going to be staying until Sunday.  They call the room "The Castle Room", because apparently it used to be have to have castle decor of some type, now a painting of a sailboat hangs on the white walls.

The night continued with a phone call home, swimming in pool in the backyard, watching Matthew's little brother Daniel's basketball game, walking to the park, and watching A Very Potter Musical.  We also ate some delicious peach pie.  Matthew's mom said that peach pie was like sunshine and smiles and I couldn't agree more.

Matthew was super tired and almost fell asleep several time.
