Elder Reynolds told me to listen to We the Kings for him. I am right now. I haven't listened to them lately. They make me miss my friends too much.
I was thinking about my last birthday, when I turned 19. It was so different from this one. So full of friends and only my cousin Laura represented my family. This year its opposite--full of family and a couple of phone calls from friends fill that slot.
I've really enjoyed today. I haven't done much. Lynnzie made me a delicious cake; just what I wanted--Chocolate with Raspberry Almond Icing. Not very many people enjoyed it, but I thought it was spectacularly amazing.
Mom and Lynnzie searched the cupboard for candles; we always have birthday candles. Except for today. All we had was the number 1 and the number 2. However shortly after removing the 2 from its package it broke in Lynnzie's hands.
Mom put the #1 on the cake and said it was because "I'm #1".
