oh happy day!

I'm on the New Century Scholarship which is a scholarship granted through the state of Utah to students who go their associates degree while they were in high school.  As with any scholarship there's a minimum GPA and other requirements that students must keep in order to have the scholarship continue.

This scholarship has been a great blessing to me and my family.  I was stressing that because of that one pesky class that caused me to go on probation from the Special Education made my GPA go under the required minimum GPA by only a few points.  When I talked with my mom about the stress I had that I'd lose my scholarship, we decided that we'd a least try to save it.  We were going to compose a letter explaining why I had fallen behind in class and send the required documentation to the scholarship board.

Today I was looking at the requirements for the scholarship so I could provide a good rebuttal to my letter however I came across this:

Do you realize what this means?  I will still be getting my scholarship money.  I haven't lost it! I'm so delighted!

I would not be a true BYU girl if I didn't end with my testimony, but seriously.  The Lord does hear your prayers.  He will ALWAYS provide a way.  I know this.  And this just reaffirms that as a witness.

This is sweet.
Not in the candy sense, or the downtown skate park sense. But in good sense.
I love this and you.
