Christmas Devotional

Sunday, Dallin, Jana, Amy and I went to Salt Lake City.  The game plan was to go to Music and the Spoken Word in the morning and go the the First Presidency Christmas Devotional at night.

Music and the Spoken Word was wonderful (as always).  The principal from my school was there as an usher.  She was asleep in one of the chairs. It was really surprising to see her there.  She took this picture for us.

During the time between to the two events we went to Memory Grove.  We walked around and I took some pictures.  It was kind of cold but it was nice.

After we were done there we drove around the Salt Lake City Cemetery and found the head stones of some prophets. It was fun, but I like that sort of thing.  Then we walked around temple square and talked to some sister missionaries.  One sister from France told us we looked very European and assured us that it was a great compliment.

After we were done there we went to Nancy and Grandpa's church and attended Sacrament meeting with them.  When it was finished we went to their house, started a frozen lasagna and took afternoon naps.  It was really enjoyable. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Finally the main event was here.  We dropped Amy and Jana off to go get tickets then,  Dallin and I searched for parking.  The devotional was great!  I loved it!

When we came out it was so foggy we almost couldn't see the temple from the conference center.  The day was great!
