goals not resolutions


I have long term goals of graduating from college, serving a mission, and being a great mom, teacher, and wife.  However, since its the new year and people make resolutions, I figured I could follow suite. But I'm not really for "resolutions".  Resolutions usually end a couple of months into the new year.  I want to set short term goals for this semester that will help me get one step closer to my long term goals.

  • Study for atleast 1 1/2 a day.
  • Wake up at 7am daily
  • Say sincere morning and evening prayers.  AND make them a priority.
  • Read my scriptures daily.
  • Have my homework done the night before, rather than doing it between my work and school break.
  • Pack a lunch.
  • Budget. Budget. Budget.
  • Attend the temple at least twice a month.
  • Make my bed daily.
  • Eat breakfast.
Some of these are pretty small but they're things that I will need to work on in order to get a little bit closer to my long term goals.
