At work we had special activities through out the day in the resource room. It mainly consisted of reading a story and then having a short activity that spawned from story.
I read The Foot Book. Then the kids made their own Foot Books describing the different activities their feet can do.
One of the other teachers read Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are. Then the students sat in a circle and they each told one reason why they were lucky.
My dear sweet Amie, said that she was lucky because she had me as her aid to help her. Oh, how I love her.
Don't tell my other students, but she's my favorite.
