Today was the last day of school. It's a very bittersweet ending. I'm ready for the school year to be over, ready for the break, but my heart breaks at the thought that I might never see my students that I've grown to love. They would make my days better, everyday. My job as an aide solidified what I want to be when I grow up. I've loved this job, even the hard days.
Mission Papers Day 1
I was supposed to start my mission papers Sunday, but I extended my stay in Neola to be with my family just a little bit longer. Then I was going to start Wednesday, but the Bishop said let's go for Thursday. Thursday, the Bishop went on a date with his wife (I very acceptable excuse). So, we started them today. I called at 1. The system was having problems, so I waited until he returned my call around 2:30.
I'm so excited to start them! I can't wait to turn them in---BYU friends or Utah friends, I'm hoping to have them in near the end of August. I wanted wait until you'd all be back for fall, in case you wanted to be there when I open the big white envelope.
