sleeping predicament

My bed is right next to the window. My head could even sit on the windowsill if I felt so inclined.  I really like being close to the window.  The breeze is delightful and the sunshine (during the day) is splendid.

However, the sunshine also causes problems when I'm trying to sleep.  So for the past couple of months, I've been sleeping with the blanket, Elder Reynolds gave me before I left for college, wrapped around my head.

It is kind of bizarre doing so, but it works. Yesterday I bought a sleeping mask and tried to use it last night.  It stayed on for a couple of hours but I woke up with my blanket on my head again.

Suggestions?

I use a sleep mask! It took some getting used to, but I love it.

curtains my girl. They cost me about 20 bucks total for my room. 8 For the bar, 12 for the fabric. Super easy to sew. :)
