texting peeves

I hate texting.  Most of the time I wish it had never been invented. Sometimes is convenient but mostly it annoys me.

Texting minimizes the quality of true communication.  Emotion is hard to express through those quickly typed messages.

It absolutely bothers me when I've taken the time to text someone a detailed message to make plans and a short one word response is the reply.  Can you imagine that in actual audible conversation?  That would be horrible.

It makes me grateful that I won't have to deal with texting for the next 18 months!  Hallelujah!
