My friend Jai wrote this awesome and put it on facebook:
There are two wolves inside us all. The wolves have only one personality. Each of which are very different. It is day and night the wolves are. That is the difference. We all know these wolves inside ourselves. Whether we call them friend or foe is fully up to us.
Good and evil, black and white, soft and sharp, calm and aggressive. We know these wolves inside ourselves. We know them very well. They speak out of us when we have our opinions, thoughts, ideas, and actions. You may ask why we have them. Well, to keep this balance. No one of us can say that we are either purely good or evil. Nonsense. Even the most “un-hearted” people in this world wanted something they thought was good. Most of the “good” people do often hurt people for their “good” causes.
This may seem contradicting in various ways, but aren’t we all this way every day?
One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false, pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
Many of you will wonder which wolf wins. The answer depends on you. It is what you are. It is who you are. It is not, what you think or who you think you are.
There is good and evil in us all, but, in the end it is the wolf you feed that will win the fight.
